Festival Freestyle Lab - Deuxième édition

Du 22 au 28 juin 2026.

Avec cette deuxième édition, notre ambition reste inchangée : promouvoir la communauté hip-hop belge, transmettre notre savoir, inspirer, célébrer et offrir aux artistes des opportunités de développement et de visibilité ; nous saisissons ainsi cette formidable occasion de faire découvrir notre culture, notre pratique et notre art au grand public.

The first edition in 2024 was beyond our expectations and we had such a quality time with all of you.

This year, we will also celebrate our 10 years anniversary, an extra opportunity to make it more special.

One week of all the activities we love to organise : battles, workshops, jams, open stage, screening, talks, discussions, gatherings, parties,…

Call for artists - Work in Progress Night on 26 June (Brussels)

Deadline: 20 May at 11h59 pm CET

For the second edition of our festival, we’re happy to organise a new Work in Progress Night.

Whether you’re a solo dancer or part of a group, this is your chance to take over the stage in Brussels, at Théâtre de la Vie on Friday 26 June.

One thing matters here : focus must be on street & club dances.

No matter where are you in the creation process (idea, residency, promotion..).

For this night, we are honoured to have a jury of experts who will award different prizes:

- production or promotion support, residencies, grants, and much more.

24 au 30 juin 2024

En 2023, la nouvelle direction du Théâtre de la Vie nous a donné carte blanche, et nous avons décidé de monter ce projet ensemble : une semaine d’événements 100 % hip-hop consacrés aux danses de rue, aux danses de club et aux danses sociales, qui s’est déroulée durant la dernière semaine de juin 2024. Les Halles de Schaerbeek et BAMP se sont également associés au projet et ont mis leurs locaux à disposition pour certaines activités.
